I was born and brought up in Pembrokeshire, West Wales. A creative and sporting upbringing in one of the most beautiful parts of the country. I moved away to salford to study Art/Graphic Design and experience life outside the shire.

I'm currently based in Manchester trying to fulfill my addiction to painting and one day live the dream as a full time artist

My work is often infused with colour to highlight the views, feelings and the moment. I use oils in all my work, it gives me the freedom to remix and sculpt the paint to my desired consistency.

My ultimate goal is to produce a painting that the subject,colour and texture overwhelm the viewer. I take inspiration from artists such as Freud, Doig, Bacon and Saville.

The subject matter is based on points of view that capture the nostalgia and memories of a place, moment or object. These reactions can be positive or negative - my paintings aim to challenge the stereotypical interpretation made by the viewer.
